I heard and i quote "The only criteria for me is whether he is hot enough to serve my constituency"

If you read my first post, this is additional justification as to why I am right to say that sometimes, even such political election is somewhat in favor of those people who are better looking than the next.



I was just conversing with my friends in school about their votes and the GE in general.

Guess what one of them said about George Yeo.

You'll never have guessed.

This was what she said,

"I'm damn sad eh. George is damn handsome la ! Why must he voted out ?  "

THERE ! GOT THAT ?

That friend of mine is one dispassionate voter and definitely, ain't ashamed at all at being one.

She continued to clarify her viewpoints that she actually wanted PAP to win because that party had more hot guys than the other parties combined together, well, and also that they seemed to be a more reliable party compared to the opposition in her own GRC. Not so much of a clarification but a declaration of true whorishness because her first and most important reason was totally off-tangent to the true meaning of this GE.

Now,we aren't actually talking about which party to support nor any other relevant issues. Neither were we flaming any parties nor being rude to anyone. In fact, with her singular act of complimenting George Yeo, I would actually think that my friend is an ardent supporter of PAP, though for reasons that shouldn't really be deemed as a valid one.




Now, you would think that one example isn't enough to justify my case that being good looking is advantageous when it comes to such election. Let me give you another example.




Another of my female friend was scanning through all the candidates using her laptop in class while the rest of us were busy with our tutorials on Forensic Psychology. We were quite annoyed with her little "yelps" and "yips" while she was cruising through the net.

When i couldn't take it anymore, i nudged her and asked, " Eh, do your tutorials leh. Stop oogling at guys la ! This ain't a pagent leh !"

Her reply was this, "The only criteria for me is whether he is hot enough to serve my constituency"

*stunned

Yes. So now, according to her logic, ugly people can't serve as MP. All must be good-looking. Or not they will suffer because she won't cast her votes for them.


Please note that i do not have the same stand as her.

My statement is, as usual, very succinct and precise.
It ain't such a bad thing if you are good looking when it comes to such election.

Her statement is that she would vote whoever is cute.

So there. Don't misunderstand this blog post :D
