Tuition Rates

As i was drifting from my beloved slumberland to pained consciousness, i heard my parents saying loudly : WP WP WP !

I'm like what the shit? We don't even live in Aljunied ! Sheesh !

But it kind of made me recall my conversation with my sister yesterday night about the election. 

She is the atypical Singaporean, who albeit is a Malaysian PR. HAHAHAHA.

Her first sentence in response to my asking whether Chiam will or will not prevail against PAP was a very curt and crisp reply: My salary will up or not ?

Haha !

Ya ya ! Like Chiam will suddenly march up to your company and demand for an immediate improvement of the company's sales and increase your revenue sharing. Sure.

Anyway, should i ever be changing my citizenship, thereby granting me the privilege to vote, I've got 1 very important issue that i'll definitely be bringing up, with lots of passion (which can be interpreted as angst as well).

For those who know me as the guy who runs around this sunny island for all his tuition assignments will know this.

The issue that the tuition rates are steadily decreasing MUST BE BROUGHT TO ATTENTION !

Not just that ! The contributing factors must be damn ass nipped in the bud !

Those retarded tutors who are undercutting the market rate ought to be brought up to court and be charged with stupidity.

You know why? Let me lay out the picture for you.

The normal tuition rate for primary school kids is around 25-30/hr for undergraduate and 30+ for teachers.
The one for secondary school kids is like 25-40/hr for undergraduates and 40+ for teachers.

Every other day, there will be new tutors who just entered the market and tries to get some.

Stupid nitshits like them will go to the agency and say stuff like this:

 Every single time you do that ! The agency will wreck their huge churning volume of brain juice and think of new ways to cut the present rates of private tuition to an even lower level. So why will they do this you will ask. Isn't it better for them to charge higher so the their own commission will be correspondingly higher?

NO ! They will charge lower so that more parents will flock to them and get more tutors referrals because their tutors' rates are so damn dirt cheap !

This must be what the agency are saying to the parents:

HYEAH ! This issue has been going on for far too long ! Sooner or later, there won't be any private tutors left due to the hellish low rates and we will all be parading around in the streets and selling our body parts for extra cash ! 1 liver for 20 bucks, can cut into 2 coz it can grow !

Idiots.

Yeah ! Whoever wants my 1 singular vote ( probably not very significant i must say, BUT I SPEAK FOR ALL PRIVATE TUTORS ! ), better step up to the podium and declare your allegiance loudly to us ! Then you will get my slip of paper with an X beside your party.
